Hey there tigers, welcome to Seat 36!
This business adheres to what writers refer to as “the inevitability of retrospect.” Looking back on over 40 years on the planet, nearly half of them getting paid for my work, Seat 36 was always where I was going to end up. The road led me here, and given the turns taken along the way, this is the only place I could have ended up.
My journey in so many ways began in Seat 36. The sport of football has had a deep impact on my entire life, starting from when I sat in Section 2, Row MM, Seat 36 as a boy in my hometown high school’s stadium. It was from that vantage point that I began to forge an identity, confidence, and the leadership skills that flow through my entire story.
Today, I am still just a Midwest kid turned Air Force cadet turned college athlete turned civil engineer turned magazine editor turned digital marketer, and now entrepreneur telling my story all along the way.
I started this business to help small- and medium-sized companies overcome anxiety, distractions, and any other obstacles standing between them and their best self, the confidence to tell their own stories, and the tools to command all aspects of their marketing strategy.
I am not here to build a Seat 36 empire. I am not here to pose as some wizard of Oz. I am here to help you, teach you what I have learned, and show those who are hungry how to fish rather than just give you your next meal. So Seat 36 works with a limited number of clients at one time to maintain top-notch service and preserve the process that makes our work (your work) stand out. If you’re ready to find your focus, let’s get started.
When I’m not sitting in Seat 36,
I am proud husband to a beautiful wife, fulfilled father to a young daughter, and humble servant to an exuberant border collie. I am an avid reader of classic literature, creative writer, and sports enthusiast (a little less so in all areas since starting a young family).
A perfect Saturday in Frisco, Texas now includes a family trip to the library, a run around the neighborhood playground, abstract sticker art, and a couple episodes spent with Minnie Mouse, Curious George, and Bluey. Bluey is by far the best.
